One of Canada's most prominent publishers, Key Porter Books Limited is known internationally for its high quality illustrated books, and at home for its mainstream books of national interest. Key Porter Books was founded as a joint venture of Anna Porter and Key Publishers in 1979 and incorporated in 1984. Key Porter Books publishes about 100 titles per year and has over 500 titles in print. Areas of specialization include Canadian politics, fiction, history biography, books on environmental and social issues, children's literature, health, wildlife, conservation, sports, business, cookbooks and photography.

Jordan Fenn, Vice President and Publisher

Jordan Fenn grew up in the book business, working at his father’s warehouse and then as a sales representative for H.B. Fenn and Company; as publisher liaison with Pan Macmillan U.K.; and now as publisher of two companies: Fenn Publishing and Key Porter Books. At Fenn Publishing he has produced some of the best sports books in Canada, including Over the Boards by Ron Ellis and Honoured Members by Andrew Podnieks with the Hockey Hall of Fame. Since he became publisher at Key Porter Books in 2004, Fenn has actively built on the Key Porter fiction program, while maintaining the company’s history of quality non-fiction books and the promotion of great Canadian authors.
